Who we are
The Faithful Bookkeeper LLC is a virtual booking business for small home maintenance and repair companies. Our website address is: thefaithfulbookkeeper.com. All privacy laws, information protection and security is in place.
Payment Terms
Invoices will be rendered monthly and are due and payable upon receipt. A finance charge of 1 -1/2 % (18% per year) may be added to outstanding balances over 30 days.
If, at any time, an outstanding balance reaches 45 days, all services will immediately be suspended and will not resume until all invoices have been paid. Services will not be performed until payment is received.
Payments are accepted by cash, check, or Paypal.
What I Won’t Do
I will make no attempt to adjust the records to reflect generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). I will make no audit or other verification of the data you submit. I may provide reports which contain portions of financial information; these reports are for internal management use only. I will not provide any financial statements (other than those used for internal management purposes and subject to interpretation by your CPA or tax professional for tax purposes) and will not preform any compilation, review, or audit of any of the financial information.
I do not at any time provide legal services of any type. I have not been requested to discover errors, misrepresentations, fraud, illegal acts, or theft, and therefore, have not included any procedures designed or intended to discover such acts, and you agree we have no responsibility to do so.
I will not disclose or reveal your financial information to any outside parties. Your financial information always remains confidential and yours.
Hardware and Software Warranties
During this proposed engagement, I may recommend that your company purchase and install computer or technological hardware, software, communications, or services. Warranties, to the extent they exist, are provided only by the manufacturer/vendor of those computer products.
Your decision as to whether you wish to follow my recommendations will always be respected and adhered to by me. Should your decision limit my ability to perform services as outlined in this engagement letter, I will seek mutually acceptable alternatives to meet the goals of this engagement to the extent possible.
Termination
It is understood that either of us may terminate this engagement at any time, for any reason, with 15 days’ written notice (hard copy or electronic). It is also understood that any outstanding unpaid services as of the date of termination are to be invoices immediately and paid within 15 days of the termination notice date or the invoice date, whichever is later.
Services Outside the Scope of this Engagement
You may request that I perform additional services not contemplated by the agreed upon engagement. If this occurs, I will discuss with you the scope and estimated fee for those additional services prior to beginning the work.
